At FSU Credit Union, we strive every day to keep the TORCH promise to our members. Every quarter, we recognize an employee who truly went above and beyond with carrying out the TORCH promise. We would like you to meet our Employee of the Quarter Jahkkari Foster (bottom left)! We invited his family to join us at our quarterly staff meeting on Aug. 21 and take part in the presentation of the award. His uncle Bob took a couple of minutes to talk about Jahkkari’s demeanor, positive attitude and character, which is what the FSU Credit Union team experiences at work too. After that, he presented the award to him with a full room of applause! Vice-President of Administration Michael Phillips also shared a few words about his persistence, poise and professionalism, which has added up to consistent success over the years.

Jahkkari lives FSU Credit Union’s TORCH promise to our members! If you’ve ever met or worked with Jahkkari, you’ve recognized it too. He (T)eaches financial thrift, (O)ffers solutions, demonstrates (R)eliability as a financial partner, (C)heerfully serves our members, and (H)ears our members valuable input. He’s all about “maximizing our members’ financial well-being!” Jahkkari joined FSU Credit Union in 2014 as a teller. His proficiency and friendly demeanor were quickly recognized by senior managers, and he was promoted to the collections department in 2016. Working with members experiencing tough financial situations is a challenging duty, but Jahkkari truly “has a heart” for helping people. He strives to always learn, and becomes more of a resource for his team and for members each day. In fact, he manages some of the highest risk loans, which he handles exceptionally well. Simply put, Jahkkari is a professional with a very bright future, and we are honored he is part of the FSU Credit Union Team. Congratulations, Jahkkari!
