FSU Credit Union, a member-owned financial institution, is managed and lead by its Board of Directors. In addition, a volunteer Supervisory Committee is responsible for ensuring that the credit union’s Board of Directors and leadership engage in practices and procedures to properly safeguard members’ assets. The FSU Credit Union Nominating Committee has officially nominated Randy McCausland, Mark Striffler, and Bill Woodyard for the three open FSU Credit Union Board of Directors positions. All Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee positions are voluntary and unpaid. We invite you to take a few minutes to learn more about the nominees.
Randy McCausland – Board of Directors nominee
Randy McCausland is a dynamic information technology leader with over 20 years of experience in the implementation, support and management of enterprise systems and associated technology infrastructure. He currently is the Vice President of Security and Risk Management for Gartner and prior to that spent 11 years with FSU, rising to the level of Senior Director, Infrastructure, Operations and Enterprise Application Development. Mr. McCausland holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Management Information Systems from FSU, and will bring a wealth of specialized IT and business knowledge expertise to the Board of Directors.
Mark Striffler – Board of Directors nominee (incumbent)
Mark Striffler retired from a 35-year career at Florida State University in 2017. He now serves as Festival Producer of Tallahassee’s Word of South Music and Literature Festival that occurs every April in Cascades Park. He has served on the credit union board in various capacities since 2001. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
William “Bill” Woodyard – Board of Directors nominee (incumbent)
William (Bill) Woodyard currently serves as Chairman of the Faculty and Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee at the Florida State University College of Business. He teaches Business Law and Real Estate. Prior to joining the FSU faculty in 1998, Mr. Woodyard has served as general counsel to the Florida Department of Business Regulation. He is a past recipient of the Ross Oglesby Award, which recognizes an FSU faculty or staff member who has for ten or more years exemplified the highest order of integrity, service, and commitment to students and to the university.
